Principal's Message

Welcome to East Ridge Elementary!  It is my great privilege to serve as the inaugural principal, serving our community’s 4th and 5th grade students.  As we open the doors to our beautiful new state-of-the-art facility, we will continue to enact our district’s vision of fostering a family atmosphere, while immersing students in a diverse academic experience preparing them for their tomorrow.

East Ridge has assembled an excellent teaching staff that utilizes effective, engaging, research based teaching practices to enhance the learning of all 450 students in our building. We strive to create well rounded individuals through academic programing, immersion in the arts, and experiential learning.  School-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports are utilized, and all learning is based around the Iowa Core Academic Standards. 

Thank you for entrusting us with your students' learning.  As our district’s unifying point, we hope to include you in our journey towards becoming “One Fleet!”  If you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to reach out.
